Our guide will tell you how to collect each of the ten Palia Flowers that you can plant and grow anywhere on your Housing Plot.
Naturally, a big part ofPaliais building and decorating your house. While you can have a nice Garden and make some beautiful Furniture, you might also want to grow some special Flowers to brighten up the place. This guide will tell you how Flowers work and how you can get them for yourself!
How Growable Flowers Work inPalia
Growable Flowers are a new item introduced in Patch 0.178. Unlike Gardening crops, Flowers can be planted anywhere on your Housing Plot much like a tree. These Flowers are purely decorative as of that update; they are not yet used in any Crafting recipes as far as I can tell.
Flowers must be placed on the ground by selecting them on your Hotbar. You must then water them through three stages of growth. Once they're fully grown, you can collect a single seed from the grown Flower. This means that having a single Flower can eventually lead to as many as you want by growing them one at a time.
Take note that the Flowers you could find in previous updates (the Briar Daisy, the Crystal Lake Lotus, the Heartdrop Lily, and the Sundrop Lily) cannotbe grown on your Housing Plot despite being Flowers.
How to Get Flowers
There are two ways to get Flowers inPalia:
- Catch the associated Bugs and get lucky
- Purchase the Flowers for 7–15 Bug Catching Skill Medals from Auni's Bug Catching Guild Store.
How to Move Flowers and How to Remove Flowers
Once you've placed growable Flowers on your Housing Plot, you can move them or remove them by going into Building Mode and selecting them like any other furniture.
PaliaFlowers List | How to Get Every Growable Flower
Here's how to get every growable Flower inPalia.
How to Get Anemone Flower
You can get an Anemone Flower by catching a Garden Mantis Bug. The Garden Mantis can be found jumping around near the coast of Kilima Lake in Kilima Valley at any time of the day.
How to Get Blue Hydrangea Flower
You can get a Blue Hydrangea Flower by catching a Duskwing Butterfly. Duskwing Butterflys can only be found near the Dragon Shrine during the daytime and they are exceptionally rare.
Unfortunately, it could take you several days to catch a Duskwing Butterfly without any assistance. I recommend crafting a Honey Lure for 1 Gold Bar, 1 Dragon's Beard Peat, and 4 Apples; it will severely increase the spawn rate of Bugs in the area for a short time.
Place the Honey Lure near the center of the middle road in the Dragon Shrine and you should be able to catch a few Duskwing Butterflies in no time!
How to Get Chapaatail Flower
You can get a Chapaatail Flower by catching a Brushtail Dragonfly. These Bugs can be commonly found near water in both Kilima Valley and Bahari Bay.
How to Get Forsythia Flower
You can get a Forsythia Flower by catching a Spotted Stinkbug. Spotted Stinkbugs are extremely common and can be found all over Kilima Valley and in northern Bahari Bay.
I may have just had awful luck, but I had to catch dozens of Spotted Stinkbugs before I got a Forsythia Flower. Make sure to carry at least 100 Smoke Bombs with you if you're trying to get this flower!
How to Get Gardenia Flower
You can get a Gardenia by catching a Common Blue Butterfly. As the name implies, this Bug is quite common and you can find it all over Kilima Valley and Bahari Bay during the daytime.
How to Get Grimalkintail Flower
You can get a Grimalkintail Flower by catching a Common Field Cricket. The Common Field Cricket can be found in central and western Kilima Valley. It's not hard to spot them since they jump everywhere.
How to Get Lavender Flower
You can get a Lavender Flower by catching a Garden Millipede. Garden Millipedes are only found in the central and southwestern areas of Kilima Valley. You also have a small chance of spawning one by Foraging throughout the entire zone.
How to Get Rose Flower
You can get a Rose Flower by catching a Kilima Night Moth. These Bugs can be found all throughout Kilima Valley and Bahari Bay at night.
How to Get Tiger Lily Flower
You can get a Tiger Lily Flower by catching a Proudhorned Stag Beettle in Kilima Valley. This bug does not appear to spawn naturally; rather, you need to mine Copper and Stone in order for it to spawn.
How to Get Tulip Flower
You can get a Tulip Flower by catching a Garden Leafhopper, a jumping Bug that can only be found in western Kilima Valley.
