In hindsight, Rasa should have listened to his daughter when she said, no begged, for him to call off the invasion, after all, she, her siblings and their jonin sensei just saw a genin do the impossible like it was Tuesday.
But no, he had to go ahead with the damn thing, he really tough the Oto forces boasting his numbers would give them an edge.
How wrong he was, because right now they are cornered, Gaara has been defeated, the Oto forces massacred by Hashirama and Jiraiya.
The Kuroi Inazuma and Uzumaki were cutting trough the Suna nin like a hot knife through butter.
All the while, that pale Hyuuga looking woman and the Sage of Six Paths himself were taking care of any stragglers as they evacuated civilians.
“if I can take down their Hokage then maybe…”, was his tough process as he engaged Minato in fierce battle, thinking he could turn this his way of he got rid of the Yellow Flash.
Only, to promptly realize he shoved his foot up his ass as motherf*cking dragon appeared in sky and turned his eyes to the village bellow
“hey mom!”, the dragon above then thunder and somehow he knows he’s talking to Tsunade who was in the process of caving in the skull of one his elite jonin.
“dad”, Temari says, mesmerized and terrified at the sight of the majestic creature of death hovering above them.
Before she could say anything else, the beast speaks again.
“what’s going on?”, the dragon asks, his low and bestial voice echoing through the skies as the invasion comes to a screeching halt.
“we are under attack, that’s what’s going on!”, Tsunade roars and the bowels of all surviving invaders quiver.
“what!!”, the dragon roars back, thunder and lightning tearing trough the ever growing dark skies, “who’s doing it?!”.
In the midst of the storm, no one notices Touka, Tobirama and Aiko being lowered down into the village bellow by flame clouds next to Hashirama and Mito.
“Tobi, where did you found that dragon?!”, Hashirama asks, his eye shinning at the cool sight of such mythical creature.
“where’s Izuku?”, Mito asks, noticing the other woman, “wait, are those Touka and Aiko? I tough they were dead”.
“they were, it seems Orochimaru also violated their resting places”, Tobirama answers, turning to Hashimara, “as for Izuku… well, her right there”.
He points to the dragon in the skies.
“holy sh*t!!”, Hashirama says awed, “do you think he would take me for a flight if I asked him nicely? I always wanted to fly on a dragon”.
“cousin, let me tell you”, Touka says hyped like a kid on sugar rush, “it was epic!! We flown so high we could see the whole continent from above!!”.
“really?!”, Hashirama asks, equally hyped.
“I have to admit, it was pretty awesome”, Tobirama says, a little more composed and Aiko agrees.
“awesome my ass, that was epic!!”, Touka cuts off, “my only regret is that we didn’t have some sake, I would love to drink some strong spirits while cutting the clouds”.
“now I want to do that too!!”, Hashirama says, like a whiny child, “hey, Izuku!!”.
He tries to call while waving his arms frantically.
“dear, that can be done on a later date, we have an invasion to take care off”, Mito says, hiding that she herself also wanted to go for a flight.
“she’ right”, Aiko says pulling her sword and seeing that everybody was frozen, “I don’t think we are in any rush here”.
Back with Tsunade.
“Suna is doing it!!”, Tsunade roars back.
Before Izuku could ask more questions a few miles away from the Village’s southern wall, a giant snake is summoned.
“you insolent humans how da…”, the giant purple snake starts grumbling and instantly freezes when his eyes lands on the incoming death above him.
Izuku opens his maw, gathering toxic green fire as he sucks in a deep breath filling his mouth with burning hot destruction.
“nuclear attack!!”, he roars as he lets out a scorching pillar of toxic green death, that travels through the sizzling air and swallows the snake like it was a worm.
The effects of the blast is instantaneously as the forest in its path is vaporized and the place where it landed was reduced to a Konoha sized crater with raging caldron of boiling hot liquid rock at the bottom of the newly glassed hell pit.
Whoever hadn’t pissed themselves before did now.
Unfortunately, the snake managed to change skins and scurry away underground to spring back closer to the village’s walls and try to get revenge.
Key word ‘try’ because as soon as it’s ugly head made off the ground it was snapped between the furious jaws of Izuku who had tracked it’s movements with observation haki and moved to intercept it blindingly fast for something his size.
Before the reptile could do anything else, it was thrown in the sky, roasted by another blast of green fire and promptly devoured by Izuku, who let out a burp that shook the ground while smoke escaped through his nostrils.
“this is my first and last warning, surrender!”, he demands, letting out a wave of conquerors Haki that knocked almost everybody, save for the Konoha forces, the Kazekage and his kids.
“wasn’t that Manda?”, Minato asks as Kushina restrains the Rasa, “the boss summon of the snakes?”.
“you said it right, that was Manda, but I think now we can call him lunch”, Kushina says turning to Temari, “so girly, are you going to surrender or do you want to become the dessert?”.
“hey!”, Izuku says.
The dragon flies high, disappearing inside the storm could and a few seconds later as the storm goes away, Izuku in his human form descends from the sky on a flame cloud.
“that’s mean!”, Izuku says, landing next to Kushina and Minato, “also, I’m not a cannibal!”.
“wait, so that dragon wasn’t a summon?!”, Minato asks horrified.
“nope, that was me, look!”, Izuku says, transforming into his hybrid form, “see!”.
As if on cue, a brave or dumb Oto nin regains consciousness and tries to attack Minato from behind.
“demolition breath!”, only to be vertically bisected by a wind blade that Izuku spits at him… together with the three tops of at least three or four miles of forest in the distance and the top of a tall hill a mile away from the forest.
“oops!”, Izuku says, turning back to his human form as Minato, Kushina, Rasa and Temari look at him in horror, “let’s not talk about his shall we?”.
“hinstly, I’m not even surprised”, Minato says, “do you mind restraining the rest of the invaders before they wake up?”.
“ookie dokie!”, Izuku says running back to the main village.
Using his hundreds of thousands of dragon headed adamantine chains he restrains all the enemies he can find.
“than kami hi on our side”, Kushina says.
The aftermath was a mess to say the least.
So much so, the Daimyo himself got involved.
During the trial, a few things were revealed, chief amongst them, being that the Wind Daimyo was up to his scalp in debt to the Fire Daimyo who had been sending him money to help Suna and in exchange, the missions that would go to them were going to Konoha.
It became very clear that the money wasn’t making to the village hidden in the sand, instead, was being used to fund the Wind Daimyo’s addiction.
The wind Daimyo, in a show of cowardice, had washed his hands off Suna and left the destiny of the village in the hands of Konoha.
That revelation was enough to show that Suna invaded out of desperations, not greed, but they invaded nonetheless.
So now, they have to pay reparations, even though causalities were low.
“I’m fully prepared to offer my head in exchange for the life and freedom of my people and children”, Rasa says, restrained by chakra suppressant manacles.
“don’t worry, we’ll get to your execution”, Minato says, Rasa’s death was never negotiable.
“I say we invade Suna”, Koharu barks, “repay them in the same coin!”.
Much to Minato’s growing migraine, most of the council supported the idea.
“I have to disagree”, Izuku says, he was brought in so as to watch and learn, “we hold all the cards right now, we can solve this diplomatically without the need of further bloodshed”.
“boy, you are way too we behimd your ears to speak in the council”, Homura says with a stern look, “however, as you said, we hold all the cards here, now it’s the time to invade and occupy Suna”.
“are you volunteering to move there?”, Izuku asks, his rinnegan eyes tuning to the elder, “I’ve that the bone dry air and the scorching heat do wonders for arthritis”.
The whole room had to stiff up a laugh.
“and how do you think an occupation will look like in the eyes of other nations?”, Izuku asks, and the room start murmuring, “do you think the other Daimyos will sit idly and let us take control of Suna?”.
“they’ll see it as an act of hostility and retaliate”, Minato says, “we have aliances with Kumo and Iwa, but if the order comes from above, then we would have a fourth shinobi war to deal with”.
“I have to agree with Minato”, the Fire Daimyo says, “young Izuku, what do you suggest we do then?”.
“we make Suna an vassal state of the Fire country”, Izuku says, “like a branch of Konoha in wind country, their Daimyo already gave up on them, so he won’t have a claim over them and we can boast their forces with our reserves and send all the wind country’s mission to Suna while collecting a slice of the pay”.
“wouldn’t that be the same as occupation?”, Haiashi asks with narrowed eyes.
“no, because we won’t be replacing the governing body of the village, instead we’ll be just adding leaf officials there to make sure things run smoothly”, Izuku explains, “they’ll still have a Kazekage, the only difference is that they’ll have to answer to the Hokage”.
“I do like his idea”, the Fire Daimyo says, scratching his chin, “all in favor?”.
The overwhelming majority agrees.
That would have been nice if it ended there…
But a week later, Izuku was awkwardly sitting next to Temari in the Senju compound while Haku was sweetly freezing the compound to death.
“mom, I can’t believe you did this!”, Izuku says, as red hot anger filled his veins, “why did you do that?!”.
“because we needed a way to show the strength of the union between Konoha and Suna”, the Fifth Hokage in training answers, “and I also lost a bet”.
“you gotta be kidding me, you married me off without telling me because you lost a bet?!”, Izuku.
“I’m not that happy about this arrangement either, but if I can suck it up for the sake of my village, so can you”, Temari says also annoyed and shivering win the cold, “I would like to have more time to know my husband better, but it is what it is”.
“if you are worried about you and Haku, you can relax, thanks to the honest to Kami ungodly amount of kekkei genkais you have and fact you are one of the only two male Senju left, you get to be pat of the CRA, so you can have multiple wives”, Tsunade says, earning an irate look from Izuku, which was terrifying.
